Andrey Nikitin graduated from financial and economic department of Kiev Institute of National Economy  in 1990,  speciality ‘finances and credit’. In 2000 he graduated from Kiev Institute of Internal Affairs of the National Academy of Interior Affairs of Ukraine with the speciality ‘jurisprudence’. In 1992-1996 he worked in the commercial banks, and occupied the positions of: head of the department for securities, financial officer and trustee. Since 1990 has been involved in scientific and teaching work, in 2003 he defended master's thesis on the topic ‘Bank investments: increasing their efficiency’. For years of work in education he occupied positions of: teacher, senior lecturer, chair assistant on scientific work. In 2004-2005 - Deputy Director of the Ukrainian School of Finances and Banking  of the Kiev National Economic University. Participated in the work of the Committee of the Supreme Council on Finance and Banking. Presently works on the thesis for a doctor's degree on the topic ‘Banks of Ukraine in the financial services market’. Participated in a number of educational financial and economic programs and conferences in Vienna, Kiev, London, Moscow and Beijing. Mr. Nikitin is the director of the nationally recognized rating agency “Standard-Rating” from 2012.
