Yuriy Prozorov, President of USFA
He is In the financial system of Ukraine since 1994. He worked at different positions in the bank “AVAL”, in 2001-2004 was the main consultant of the Expert-analytical center of the Council of the National Bank of Ukraine on monetary policy. In 2004-2005 was a specialist in working with banks of the Development Fund of Ukrainian cities (Project of the World Bank in Ukraine). In 2005-2006 was Director for Development of the First Stock Trading System (PFTS). From October 2006 to July 2008 was the director of analytical department of the Group of companies TEKT. From January 2009 to December 2011 – Deputy Head of National Financial Services Market Commission.
He is the author of over 100 articles and publications in Ukraine and abroad on matters of monetary policy, development of the banking system, pension reform and analysis of the securities market. Since 2004 he is a researcher at the Department of Economic Theory of the Institute of Economics and Forecasting of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. In 2005-2006 – the Chairman of the Index Committee of PFTS.
Mr. Prozorov is a member of the Ukrainian Society of Financial Analysts since 2000, since 2003 – a member of the Executive Committee of USFA. President of the Ukrainian Society of Financial Analysts since February 2005. Member of the USFA Commission on bonds and banking analysis.
He graduated from the Kiev Polytechnic Institute (“Industrial Electronics”, 1992), Kiev Higher Banking School (“Finance and Credit”, 1998) and London Guildhall University (Great Britain) (“Investment banks”, 1999). Has qualification “International markets of equities” from Securities Institute (London, UK, 2003).
